Save 50+ hours of research and get important data points on startup funding in Pakistan.
Hello, my name is Zahid. I run Techshaw, a digital media outlet covering Pakistan’s startup economy.
I maintain a spreadsheet where I record all publicly disclosed funding transactions. This helps me keep track of the amount of money startups have raised, perform quarterly and yearly analysis, and identify trends.
There are 3 tabs in the spreadsheet that provide you with the following data points for all disclosed funding transactions between 2014-2021:
Number of Startups
Number of Deals
Total Amount Raised
Investment Type (Seed, Series A, etc.)
Investor Type (VC, Angel, etc.)
Investor Location Type (Local, Foreign, etc.)
For a one-time payment of $100, you get lifetime access. Over time, you can expect to see a lot more data points, allowing you to perform better analysis and gain insights.
If you want to get a visual glimpse of the data you can expect once you download the file, check out Techshaw Pulse. It is powered by the spreadsheet you are going to be downloading.
*Data sources: In-house research, MENAbytes, i2i Deal Flow Tracker and Crunchbase.
Housekeeping: After you make the payment, you will be directed to Google Drive containing a Google Sheet. You can download the Google Sheet in Excel format but certain pivot tables/charts will break. To make edits to Google Sheet, go to File > Make a Copy and save it on your Google Drive.
